What we build
Custom Balloon Arches for Atlanta Celebrations
Nothing changes a doorway, a cake table or a plain venue wall as quickly as a well-built balloon arch.
Think of a balloon arch as a frame made of balloons. It curves over the thing you want people to notice, like the front door, the dessert spread, a stage, the newlyweds or the graduate, and it shows up from across the room and in every phone photo. You get the impact of florals or draping at a much friendlier price.
We don't start from a catalog. We start from your date, your colors and the actual footprint you're working with, then choose the balloon mix that gets the shape right: 5-inch fillers for texture, 11-inch for body, 18- and 24-inch balloons for drama, and chrome, pearl or foil where you want shine. On the day, we bring everything, build it in place and come back for it afterward.
Our custom balloon arch decorations show up at birthdays, baby showers and gender reveals, bridal showers and weddings, graduations, homecomings, quinceañeras, office events and ribbon cuttings. If there's an entrance, a table or a spot people will stand for pictures, there's an arch that fits it.
Arch styles
Balloon Arch Styles We Build
Pick the shape first. Every style below has a job it does better than the others.
Organic balloon arches
Organic arches skip the repeating pattern. Balloons of several sizes are grouped in uneven clusters, which gives the arch a loose, full, slightly untamed outline. This is the look you see saved on most mood boards. It holds flowers and greenery nicely and suits weddings, showers and big birthdays. Because it packs more balloons into every foot, it runs a little higher than a classic arch.
Classic and spiral balloon arches
Classic arches use matching balloons in tight groups of four, stacked evenly along the frame. Rotate the colors from one group to the next and the arch turns into a spiral that twists in two, three or four colors. It's tidy, durable and perfect for school, team, sorority and company colors, which is why grad parties, homecoming events and corporate openings still ask for it.
Round, circle and hoop arches
A round arch (people also call it a circle, ring or hoop) puts balloons around some or all of a circular frame. A full ring frames someone standing inside it. A crescent covers one side and leaves the middle open for a sign or a name. These are the favorite photo spot for proposals, sweet 16s and birthday dinners.
Square and backdrop arches
A square arch carries balloons up the sides and across the top of a rectangular frame, most often wrapped around a backdrop board, a shimmer wall or a flower wall. It turns the cake table into a little stage with clean edges for photos. When you want arch and backdrop designed together, start with our balloon backdrops.
Half and asymmetrical arches
A half arch, sometimes called a swoop or demi arch, climbs one side of a door, table or backdrop and trails off partway across. It looks current and designed, and since it uses fewer balloons than a full arch, it's one of the best ways to get a big look on a smaller budget.
Double arches
A double arch stacks two arches, either nested one inside the other or set front to back, so the design has depth. It's worth it in large rooms like ballrooms, warehouse venues and church sanctuaries, where one arch alone can look small.
Mini and tabletop arches
Tabletop arches are small, usually 4 to 6 feet across, and sit right on or behind a cake, dessert, gift or sweetheart table. They're the right size for intown apartments, restaurant private rooms and showers where every square foot of floor is spoken for.
Entrance and doorway arches
An entrance arch points guests to the party before they reach the door. We build them over front porches, garage doors, venue entries and storefronts. Outdoor entrance arches are weighted and tied down, because a summer thunderstorm can push a strong gust through before the rain even starts. Add balloon columns on both sides for a complete entrance.
Large and giant balloon arches
A large arch starts around 16 feet and can cover double doors, a stage or a driveway. Giant arches for store openings, school events and festivals reach 25 to 40 feet using 24- and 36-inch balloons. At that size the arch becomes a custom balloon installation, planned around the site itself.
Balloon arches with flowers and greenery
Tuck silk or fresh blooms, eucalyptus, pampas or trailing greenery into the clusters and the arch softens into something close to a floral piece. It's the natural fit for bridal showers, baptisms, garden-style weddings and Mother's Day brunch.

Sizing
Balloon Arch Sizes: Choosing the Right Length
Measure before you pick. Too short and the arch disappears in photos; too long and it crowds the door.
| Arch size | Works for | Approx. balloons |
|---|---|---|
| 4–6 ft tabletop or mini | Cake, dessert and gift tables | 60–110 organic |
| 6.5–7 ft frame arch | Photo corners, single doors, small backdrops | 90–130 organic |
| 10–12 ft arch | Front doors, porch steps, 8 ft backdrops | 150–220 organic or 60–75 classic |
| 16–20 ft arch | Double doors, stages, 10 ft backdrops | 240–360 organic or 100–130 classic |
| 25 ft and longer | Grand openings, gyms, outdoor entrances | Planned for the site |
We measure arches along the curve, not across the floor. A 16–20 ft arch usually stands about 8–9 ft high and 8–10 ft wide. Exact balloon counts depend on balloon sizes and how full you want it.
How many balloons go into a balloon arch? Plan on about 5 or 6 balloons per foot for a classic arch of 11-inch balloons, and 12 to 18 per foot for an organic arch that mixes 5-, 11- and 18-inch sizes. That works out to roughly 70–110 balloons for a 6 ft organic arch and 240–360 for a 20 ft one. A pack of 50 covers a small half arch or a tabletop piece, not a full doorway.
Pricing
How Much Does a Balloon Arch Cost in Atlanta?
Most full-size arches we build come in between $225 and $650. Here's where each size starts and what pushes the number up.
| Arch | Starting at |
|---|---|
| Tabletop or mini arch (4–6 ft) | $195 |
| Frame arch with garland (6.5–7 ft) | $225 |
| Doorway arch (10–12 ft) | $325 |
| Themed welcome arch with foil accents | $350 |
| Full balloon arch (16–20 ft) | $450 |
| Double, giant and 25 ft+ arches | Custom quote |
Delivery, setup and pickup are included across our core Metro Atlanta service area. Drives over 40 miles add a travel fee starting at $60.
What moves the price of a balloon arch:
- Length and density. Every extra foot and every fuller cluster adds balloons and build time.
- Style. An organic arch takes more balloons per foot than a classic or spiral one.
- Balloon finish. Chrome, pearl, double-stuffed custom shades and 18–36 inch balloons cost more than standard latex.
- Extras. Florals, greenery, foil shapes, vinyl names, neon signs, marquee letters and backdrop boards.
- How it stands. Most quotes include a frame or stand; rigging an arch to venue structure takes extra labor.
- Distance and timing. Atlanta traffic is real. A run from Kennesaw to Lawrenceville, a 7 a.m. install or a narrow hotel dock window all count.
- Teardown. We can come back for everything, or you can skip pickup and keep the balloons.
Want a firm number? Send the date, the venue, the size and your colors, and you'll get a written quote back. Every service page lists its own starting prices too, including garlands, columns and backdrops.

Your options
Full Installation, Arch Rental or a DIY Balloon Arch?
You can hand the whole thing off or do some of it yourself. Here's how the options stack up.
| Option | What's included | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Full installation | Design, delivery, on-site build and pickup afterward | You want it right and would rather not spend party morning on a ladder |
| Balloon arch rental | A pre-built frame arch dropped off and collected later | Smaller arches, photo corners, simple setups |
| Grab-and-go garland | A finished garland you collect and hang | A short run over a table or wall on a tight budget |
| DIY balloon arch kit | Balloons, a decorating strip and glue dots | Small arches, plenty of time and a patient helper |
What is the best way to make a balloon arch? Inflate with an electric pump, size the balloons with a sizer box, build clusters of four and attach them to a strip or a frame, then fill gaps with 5-inch balloons. A small kit arch is a fair weekend project. A full organic doorway arch is a different story: our crew needs one to three hours at the venue, while a first attempt can eat four to eight hours and a second store run. Balloons inflated too early or with the wrong pump also pop and go cloudy. If the arch is the centerpiece, having it built is usually money well spent.
Atlanta weather
Outdoor Balloon Arches in Atlanta Heat, Humidity, Pollen and Storms
An arch can absolutely go outside here. It just needs to be planned around the season.
Atlanta summers run around 90 degrees with thick humidity, and pop-up thunderstorms roll through on many afternoons from June into September. Sun and heat are hard on latex: warm air inside the balloon expands until weak ones burst, UV turns the surface cloudy and matte within hours, and dark shades like black and navy heat up fastest. Spring brings its own problem. From late March into mid-April the yellow pine pollen that coats cars and patio furniture settles on balloons too, and it shows most on dark and chrome finishes.
- Find shade. A covered porch, a patio, a tent or the shady side of the house buys an outdoor arch hours.
- Build close to start time. For summer afternoon parties we schedule the install as late as is practical, not at breakfast.
- Use air, not helium. Outdoor arches are air-filled on a frame. Floating helium balloons fade fast in Georgia heat.
- Go lighter outside. Whites, pastels, pearls and metallics hold up better in full sun than black or deep navy.
- Anchor it. Outdoor arches get weighted bases and tie-offs, because storm gusts often arrive before the first raindrop.
- Plan for storms and pollen. A passing shower won't hurt latex, but lightning means moving the arch under cover. In pollen season, keep it covered until guests arrive.
Longevity
How Long Do Balloon Arches Last?
Inside with the AC running, an air-filled arch lasts for days. Outside in an Atlanta July, count on the length of the party.
| Setup | Typical life |
|---|---|
| Air-filled, indoors, air-conditioned | Several days, often a week or longer |
| Air-filled, outdoors in shade (spring and fall) | A full day, often into the next |
| Air-filled, outdoors in direct summer sun | A few hours before it fades and starts popping |
| Helium arch or helium bouquets | Hours, unless treated to float longer |
How far in advance should I make a balloon arch? For an indoor event, the night before is ideal, and an air-filled arch built two or three days ahead still looks fresh. That's why evening setups work so well for morning showers and multi-day events. Outdoors from May through September, build it the same day.
How it works
How to Book a Balloon Arch in Atlanta
Four simple steps. Asking for a quote is free and doesn't lock you into anything.
- 1
Share the details
Your date, venue or zip code, the size or space, your colors and any inspiration pictures. It's about a minute of typing.
- 2
Get a design and a price
We send back a design plan with a written quote. Tweaks are free until it looks right to you.
- 3
We build on-site
We show up inside your setup window, build the arch, and check that it's steady and ready for photos.
- 4
Party, then pickup
Enjoy the day. If teardown is part of the quote, we return for the balloons and the frame.
How far ahead should you book? Two to four weeks is plenty for most parties. Lock dates in earlier for May graduations, HBCU homecoming weekends in October, December holiday parties, and spring and fall wedding Saturdays, when decorators around the metro book up first. Last-minute dates are still worth asking about.

Questions
Balloon Arches in Atlanta: FAQ
How much does a balloon arch cost in Atlanta?
Our arches start at $195 for a tabletop arch, $225 for a 6.5–7 ft frame arch and $450 for a full 16–20 ft arch, with delivery and installation included. The size, style, balloon count, extras and driving distance set the final price.
What is a fair price for a balloon arch?
It depends on the size and style. Ours start at $225 for a 6.5–7 ft frame arch and $450 for a full 16–20 ft arch, delivered and built on-site, and most full-size arches we build come in between $225 and $650. When comparing quotes, check whether delivery, setup and pickup are included, because a lower number without them often ends up costing more.
How long does a balloon arch last?
Air-filled and indoors, a balloon arch lasts several days and often more than a week in air conditioning. Outside in shade it lasts about a day, and in full Atlanta summer sun it lasts a few hours. Helium arches last hours unless they're treated.
How many balloons does a balloon arch take?
About 12 to 18 balloons per foot for an organic arch and 5 to 6 per foot for a classic one. A 6 ft organic arch takes roughly 70–110 balloons, and a 20 ft organic arch takes about 240–360.
Is a balloon arch the same as a balloon garland?
Not quite. An arch stands up and curves on its own frame or anchors. A garland is the bendable run of balloon clusters, and it can be shaped into an arch or hung along a mantel, a wall, a doorway or a table edge. So an organic arch is really a garland mounted on a frame, while lots of garlands never get one.
Are balloon arches filled with helium?
Usually not. Most arches are filled with air and held up by a frame, which lets them last longer and keeps the price down. Helium is for floating arches and bouquets, which last from a few hours to about a day.
Can a balloon arch go outside in Atlanta?
Yes. Outdoor arches are air-filled, weighted and best set in shade. Summer sun and heat fade and pop balloons within hours, so summer outdoor arches are built close to start time, and spring arches stay covered during pollen season.
How far in advance should I make a balloon arch?
Indoors, the night before is ideal, and an air-filled arch can be built two or three days early. Outdoors in warm months, it should go up the same day.
How early should I book a balloon arch?
Two to four weeks out works for most parties. Book earlier for May graduations, October homecoming weekends, December holiday parties and wedding Saturdays. Short-notice requests are still worth sending.
Do you deliver and install the arch?
Yes. With full service we bring the arch, build it where it's going to stand and collect it when the party wraps. Prefer to handle setup? Ask about a pre-built frame arch or a grab-and-go garland instead.
Are balloon arches still in?
Yes. Showers, weddings, birthdays and company events are booking organic shapes, half arches, and arches combined with florals or a backdrop board. Tight spiral arches are the older look, but they're still the favorite for school, team and Greek-letter colors.
Can you make a latex-free balloon arch?
Yes. Arches, walls and backdrops can be built entirely from foil balloons, which is the right call for guests with latex allergies and for hospitals, schools and offices with foil-only rules.
Do you deliver outside the Perimeter?
Yes. We work inside I-285 and across the suburbs beyond it, including Marietta, Alpharetta, Duluth and South Fulton. Drives of more than 40 miles add a travel fee starting at $60.
