What Is a Balloon Garland?
A balloon garland is a long, bendable run of balloon clusters that can follow just about any edge in a room.
Picture balloon clusters strung along a strip so the whole run can flex. That's a garland. It can climb around a door frame, drape along a mantel, trail down a banister, hug the front of a cake table or outline a backdrop. What does organic balloon garland mean?
"Organic" means the garland mixes balloon sizes in irregular groupings: tiny 5-inch fillers, regular 11-inch balloons and big 16- to 24-inch accents. Nothing repeats, so the line looks natural, full and textured. It reads as decor in photos rather than something grabbed off a party-store shelf.
What is the difference between an organic and a regular balloon garland?
A regular, or classic, garland repeats identical clusters of same-size balloons, so it looks like a neat rope or a spiral. It's symmetrical and takes fewer balloons. An organic garland is looser, puffier and uses more balloons per foot. Go classic for school, team, Greek-letter or corporate colors where crisp is the point; go organic for showers, weddings, birthdays and anything built for pictures.

What is a grab-and-go balloon garland? It's a garland we build ahead, usually 5 to 8 feet long, that you pick up and hang on your own. It's the budget option for small spaces. Anything much past 8 feet doesn't ride well in a car, and a hot car in an Atlanta summer is hard on latex anyway, so longer garlands are installed.

How long do balloon garlands last? Air-filled and kept in an air-conditioned room, an organic garland stays full for several days and frequently a week or more before it softens. In outdoor shade around Atlanta, figure on about a day. In direct summer sun, a few hours is realistic before the latex dulls, fades and starts to pop.
How early can a balloon garland be made? For an indoor party, one or two days ahead with no visible difference. Most of our clients book the install for the evening before or the morning of. For an outdoor summer party, it should go up the same day, as near to start time as possible.
